The Kaohsiung Branch successfully auctioned 2 BENZ vehicles entrusted by the prosecutor’s office and all home appliances in the joint auction!

    The joint auction of March 2020 was held on March 3 by the Kaohsiung Branch of the Administrative Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Justice (hereinafter referred to as the Kaohsiung Branch). In order to avoid mass gatherings, the Kaohsiung Branch divided the auction into two sessions, one was held in the morning, and the other was held in the afternoon. 4 vehicles and 20 fluorescent lighting fixtures were sold in the morning session at the South Loot Storage of the Ministry of Justice. The public was highly interested and asked a lot of questions before the auction started. The final bid for a 2006 BENZ-R350（3498c.c.) vehicle entrusted by the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors’ Office was 333,000 NTD; the final bid for a 2015 BENZ-C300 4MATIC (1991c.c.) vehicle entrusted by the Taiwan Ciaotou District Prosecutors’ Office was 1,101,000 NTD. This was the first time that the prosecutors’ office of Kaohsiung area has entrusted the AEA branch to hold the sale of seizure items confiscated in criminal procedures. The entrusted auction had created a new cooperation mode among the three agencies.

    The afternoon session was held at the outdoor space in front of the gate of the first floor of the Kaohsiung Branch Office. All home appliances provided for the auction, including washing machines, TVs, fans, irons, telephones, phone protectors, LED light bulbs, etc., were sold out in this session. The total number of the items was more than 80; there were also 8 pieces of lands and buildings sold in this session. The total amount made from the final bid of the personal properties in this auction was 1,627,200 NTD and the total amount made from the highest-bidding of the real properties in this auction was 15,391,401 NTD. The total amount combined was 17,018,601 NTD.
